Insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I’m allowed? If so, how many?
Financial
I am happy to discuss my rates over the phone or during our initial consultation. I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, but am unable to accept other insurance plans. Please call your insurance carrier to see if my services are covered, and I can supply the necessary paperwork to help you receive reimbursement.
Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to keep an appointment, I ask that you kindly provide me with at least 24 hours notice. I simply ask for this advance notice so that I may offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.
Appointments
If you would like to make an appointment, please contact me by phone or use the email link on this website under CONTACT. First sessions are scheduled for 90 minutes. Subsequent sessions last 50-60 minutes. I welcome new patients and especially referrals from existing patients. Please feel free to leave me a message on my confidential voice mail, (708) 574-5876.
